#6 Save as ...send as

I found out how to change the type of attatchment and send to others who haven't got the same version of soft ware . As I was sending to a whole raft of people this was very satisfying!

#5 Photos on photos

I looked at Montagr and liked the way the photos had been put together as a background which also then deliniated a face. Very clever, way out of my league.... at the moment.

Flickr

I have looked at Flickr, with a lot of help from my friends!! and I can see that in the future it could be useful as a much safer way to collect and keep photos.I am not a keen photographer, but I do have old photos which I would be interested in storing in a safe place, like Flickr..

Exercise 2

I know how to find and create a new post, which I didn't before and I see that you can edit change and delete it. I understand what a blog is and I have created one and named it. I didn't have much luck with the help videos, perhaps I was impatient. Where are the tabs for selecting different colours on the template, or am I in the wrong bit at the moment? Guess I am. I am going to try #3 now.

RSCM

As my blog name is "Singer" I thought it would be a good idea to say something about the subject. When I was first in Church choirs we had a system started by the Royal School of Church Music - hence the cryptic title, by which we progressed in stages from novice to experienced chorister. This is a world wide institution and is alive and well in New Zealand. A new phase has been stated for school and cathedral choirs called "Voice for Life" and I know of at least one school where it is being taught. It's heartening to know that young people are coming up through the system to replace, eventually, all us oldies.

Computers

Why can some people easily understand how to use them and others find it so difficult? It's this digital immigrants, dinosaur thing.I just seem to go round and round in circles . I think it's knowing where to look for directions, but I can tell you that it is very frustrating when you know there is information there and you can't access it. There is the fear factor as well, - no one like to look foolish and with computers this is something I feel very often. But I am not going to let it beat me, so on with the motley!

Exercise # 2

It's all a bit confusing and frankly terrifying, but I am glad that I have started and I must try to enter the world of digital immigrants and leave the world of digital dinosaurs. Just found the spell check!
